What if you kept the horse mask 24/7 while raising the child and they thought they were raised by a horse human hybrid and never knew any different and then one day you took the mask off

That’s a great idea

no one on tumblr should ever become parents

Facebook runs on a very stiff, crude model of what people are like. It herds everybody — friends, co-workers, romantic partners, that guy who lived on your block but moved away after fifth grade — into the same big room. It smooshes together your work self and your home self, your past self and your present self, into a single generic extruded product. It suspends the natural process by which old friends fall away over time, allowing them to build up endlessly, producing the social equivalent of liver failure. On Facebook, there is one kind of relationship: friendship, and you have it with everybody. You’re friends with your spouse, and you’re friends with your plumber.

Lev Grossman’s profile on Mark Zuckerberg for Time

I think this is the best analysis of Facebook I’ve ever read. “The social equivalent of liver failure” is a genius phrase.

L’art de Tweek

Just like every artistic composition, the process of developing l’art de Tweek was one of sparking creativity and exhaustion.

Our attempt to design Tweek City’s very own TV Museum or better TV graveyard started very early this morning:  First, we almost froze onto the streets of siberian Berlin on our way to pick up the A-Team van. After we finally had the engines running we speeded over to the West to collect a couple of nostalgic TV friends. Our optimism started crumbling quickly when we realized we had too many boob tubes to fit the trunk. With a heavy heart we left some behind. Knowing Karma, we were punished immediatly when one little fella’s wish to return to his basement buddys was so strong that he tried to escape through the side window and almost died in the streets of Neukölln. But nobody can stop the A-Team:  With one window down, one mentally wounded passenger and several kilometers behind us we finally arrived in Tweek City to built Tour Tweek.

After a day filled with tears and laughter, we now hope YOU like it too!

Love,

Team Tweek
